 Fried potato cheese balls recipe

Ingredients

  • Potatoes 1/2 kg
  • 1tbsp salt
  • 3 tbsp All purpose flour
  • 1tbsp Crushed red chilli
  • 1tbsp coriander powder
  • 2 eggs
  • Breadcrumbs
  • 1tbsp milk
  • Mozzarella cheese cubes

Add boiled potatoes in a bowl and mash them. It should be fine mashed potatoes.
Then add 2 tbsp of white flour in it and mix well so there are no lumps of flour in mashed potatoes.
Then add 1tbsp salt, crushed red chilli, coriander powder and mix well.
Then keep mashed potatoes mixture on your palm, spread it a little and keep a cube of mozzarella cheese in between. Give the mashed potatoes a round shape after this. Basically in potato cheese balls shape.
In another bowl add 2 eggs, 1tbsp milk, 1/2 tsp salt, 1tbsp all purpose flour and mix well so no lumps are left.
When your balls are ready, then dip your potato cheese balls in this egg mixture and coat it from each side with it.
After first coating of egg mixture, then your second coating will be of breadcrumbs.
Cover your potato balls with bread crumbs and this will be your last coating.
After coating all the balls, freeze them for atleast 1 hour.
Then you have to fry them. Keep the oil level less than the balls. Your potato balls shouldn't be completely dipped in oil.
Don't turn the side too fast while frying. Turn the side when you see it getting light brown.
Fry potato balls from each side until they turn light brown.
Your fried potato cheese balls are ready. Serve them with ketchup
