Ingredients
- Butter 1tbsp
- White part green onion 1/2 cup
- Onion 1 sliced
- carrot 1 sliced
- Chopped garlic 1tbsp
- Boiled shredded chicken 1 cup
- Peas 1/2 cup
- Chicken stock 7 cup
- Salt 1tsp
- Black pepper powder 1/2tsp
- Noodles as required
Whole chicken noodle soup instant pot recipe
In a pot, add butter, let it melt. Then add onions and chopped garlic. Saute it for a minute. Then add white part of green onions, sliced carrots, peas, mix it well and saute for 5 minutes.
Then add boiled shredded chicken and mix it well. Pour chicken stock in it, then add salt, black pepper powder and mix well.
Boil it , cook for 30 minutes on low flame.
After 30 minutes add noodles in it and cook for 10 more minutes or until the noodle is completely cooked.
Your soupy chicken noodles is ready, serve in a bowl. Garnish with coriander.
Should you cook noodles before adding to chicken soup?
It's better if you cook noodles inside the soup so the chicken soup flavours will be mixed up with the noodles and the noodles will have more yummy taste but you can even boil noodles before and then add to soup but again i prefer boiling noodles inside the soup.
What can I add to homemade chicken soup for flavor?
Add fresh herbs in your soup to have that fresh yummy flavour in the soup. Also add fresh vegetables in your chicken soup to have a rich healthy taste in your soup.
